Class information
We have lots of classes throughout the week, each with a different focus so that there's something for everyone! Don't worry about having to come to every class - we go over dances several times so that people who may have missed classes can catch up! Our taught classes are split into ability level but our open practice classes are fine for every level. Time and venue can change so check our daily facebook updates or sign up for our weekly email to find out where classes are. Rather than paying for each class, all class costs will be covered in your membership. We also allow a 'try before you buy' period where you can try free classes before making a commitment.
Please pay attention to our social media for class times, as these are a general guide only and subject to change!
Mondays: 19:00-22:00
GSA Studio Ball (Stag Hill)

Wednesdays 13:00-14:30
University Hall (Stag Hill)
Lessons taught by our professional coaches Michael and Nika!
Thursdays: 19:00 - 22:00
University Hall (Stag Hill)
Sundays: 14:15 - 17:45
Surrey Sports Park Studios A+B
Lessons taught by our professional coaches Michael and Nika!
Don't have a partner to bring along? Don't fret! You don't need to bring anyone to dance with (unless you specifically want to) as there will be plenty of people without partners in the club. Whether you are bringing along a friend or partner, or coming on your own, there are no restrictions on dancing in a same-sex couple, which also extends to competing!
Class videos
Jive kicks class!
This is an example of one of our fun classes! In this class, the members were taught a Jive routine and then challenged to keep doing it for as long as they can. Last one dancing is the winner!
Body attack class!
Here is one of our social dance night classes, where we do something different to our normal ballroom and latin classes. This was a 'body attack' exercise class! Social dance nights can vary from classes like this, to dances like Ballet and Voguing, to film or games nights!
Beginners Jive class!
Here is a clip from early in the year of our beginners trying out a Jive routine! This class was taught by some of our professional coaches, and is the type of class you would expect on Sundays and Wednesdays (in varying venues).
Novice Waltz class and routine!
Here is an example of a novice Waltz routine, performed by one of our professional coaches and intermediate team captain. Don't worry, you wont be expected to perform in front of the class like this! Usual novice practice follows the same format as beginner practice.
